Christone "KINGFISH" Ingram | October 8, 2020
We were very excited to have Clarksdale's own, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram join us in the kitchen to make his childhood favorite Mac-n-Cheese.
Kingfish heads over to our neighbor Ground Zero Blues Club afterwards to play some of his most famous Blues songs. Grammy nominee Kingfish has played with Buddy Guy and Eric Gales to name just a few. He learned how to play guitar as a kid at our other neighbors, The Blues Museum.
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 cup Smoked Gouda
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar
- 1 cup Duke's Mayo
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 cup of elbow macaroni
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups of cream
Boil macaroni to al dente (set aside), bring cream to a boil (take off heat), stir in the cheeses until melted, whisk eggs (set aside), add mayo to the cream and cheeses, then add macaroni, eggs, and stir. Place in cast iron skillet. Spread Bread crumbs evenly.
BAKE 350* for 30 minutes! VOILA!
